About Me

When I was a child, I spent time every day with my great-grandfather, who practiced traditional Chinese medicine.  My great-grandfather always put his whole heart into patients’ well-being.  When he was 90 years old, a patient’s husband knocked at his door at midnight and asked him to help his wife who was having severe abdominal pain. Even though it was cold and dark outside and he was tired from working all day, my great-grandfather got dressed and went to help her without any hesitation. The most important thing I learned from him was how to take care of patients from the bottom of your heart.

When I grew up, I chose to enter the medical school to continue my family mission of saving lives and graduated with excellent academic performance.

Since graduation, I have been serving at Sichuan State People’s Hospital & Sichuan State Academy of Medical Science for 12 years where there was a top ranked neurology center. I was able to integrate acupuncture and biomedicine to treat many stroke and other neurological patients. As an acupuncturist and physician, I effectively treated patients with diverse diseases in 22 departments such as neurological, ER, ICU, surgical floors, orthopedic, cardiac, GI/GU, pulmonary, endocrine and internal medicine, etc.

It was my honor to be invited to treat many patients not only in rehabilitation stage but also in ICU. I had rich experience in treat neurological disease in all the different stages. Due to my excellent clinic effect, I was awarded the “Top-Ten Physician” in the Sichuan State People’s Hospital. Meanwhile, I was honored to, as the top acupuncturist and physician, to discuss underdiagnosed and complicated diseases in China.

As a professor of Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin Graduate School (AOMA) and licensed acupuncturist in Texas, I gave lectures and supervised numerous medical students and interns for 12 years.
